A lot of stuff is starting to come out for Broadway Talks
The Drama League has announced the rosters of stars who will appear as presenters at The 77th Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony and Luncheon on Friday, May 20, 2011 (noon) in the Grand Ballroom of the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square (1535 Broadway at 46th Street). The ceremony will be hosted by Kathleen Turner (High).
This year’s presenters include Daniel Radcliffe, who will present the award for Distinguished Production of a Musical.
I added the rest of the pics for the Equus section in the gallery so all Broadway pics have been added. I also did a few captures of Inside the Actor’s Studio. I also found another HQ photo of Dan and Emma from H2SB Added Gypsy of the year 2008 pics and a few pics from the New York Times talks. Updated twitter and facebook too!
And also don’t forget to vote for John, Dan or Chris here @ the Broadway World Awards.
I also forgot to mention a while back, I got a twitter for the site. So if your interested feel free to follow us @ SimplyDanRad
Performances from the Tony-nominated revivals of Anything Goes and How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying will be featured on upcoming broadcasts of the ABC daytime chat show “The View.”
Cast members from Anything Goes, which stars Sutton Foster, will appear on the May 12 broadcast of the morning talk show. Daniel Radcliffe and Tony nominee John Larroquette, from How to Succeed, will perform on the May 16 program.
“The View” — hosted by Barbara Walters, Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Sherri Shepherd and Elisabeth Hasselbeck — airs in the New York City metropolitan area on WABC-TV, Channel 7 at 11 AM ET; check local listings.
The 92nd Street Y has just announced that Daniel Radcliffe—who is currently starring in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, but is better known as Harry freaking Potter—will take part in its Broadway Talks series, sitting down for a chat with Jujamcyn Theaters president Jordan Roth on May 9 (8pm, $29–$35). We predict that tickets will move faster than a snitch during an especially tricky Quidditch match.
CBS Films has acquired the U.S. distribution rights to The Woman in Black, the gothic horror thriller that stars Harry Potter’s Daniel Radcliffe, Ciaran Hinds, Janet McTeer and Shaun Dooley. I’m still pulling together the facts on this one, but I’m told that CBS Films moved aggressively to beat out bidders that included Summit Entertainment, The Weinstein Company and Relativity Media.
Two new videos are up from the Drama Desk Cocktail Reception. TheatreMania click here to view it.
I also made a new layout different colors this time never used green much. But I hope you like it.
