We’re all guilty of it – saying sorry too often, talking about the weather or how long our journey took each morning, but the most British thing Daniel Radcliffe does might surprise you.

The ‘boy who lived’ is the man that quizzes.

Yes, Daniel Radcliffe’s not-so-guilty pleasure is watching quiz shows.

His personal favourites? Pointless, Only Connect and University Challenge – which he calls the ‘holy trinity’.

The actor says: “I grew up doing University Challenge in a very competitive family of people doing it.”

Daniel say it’s left him with a wealth of knowledge, but admits when the show reaches the quarter finals he struggles to answer as many questions!
Who else wants to see Daniel make a special appearance on University Challenge?

With the first performance of Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead less than a month away, take a look at some of the action from inside the Rehearsal Room. Pictures are available in multiple sources and in our gallery.

Against the backdrop of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, this mind-bending situation comedy sees two hapless minor characters, Rosencrantz (Daniel Radcliffe) and Guildenstern (Joshua McGuire), take centre stage with David Haig as The Player. Increasingly out of their depth, the young double act stumble their way in and out of the action of this iconic drama. In a literary hall of mirrors, Stoppard’s brilliantly funny, existential labyrinth sees us witness the ultimate identity crisis.

Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead runs from 25 February – 29 April.
