Finishing Up

I’ve been working on the site, I finally finished the Harry Potter section. I also fixed some coding that was messing up some of the pages and re-did some information that I had added. I also fixed the affiliate page and the affiliate form. We have about 1000 images in the gallery so far but there will be more to come once I sort them out on my computer. So expect more to come soon.

After ‘Deathly Hallows – Part 1,’ What’s Next For Daniel Radcliffe?

Following the exhaustive international “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1” press tour, Daniel Radcliffe might have the chance to sneak a few Z’s. Or not. The kid has a jam-packed schedule of projects lined up that will keep him busy for the next few years. That means even after the “Potter” franchise is done, you’ll have the chance to see Radcliffe on stage and screen for a long time to come.

“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2”
The franchise isn’t done, remember? Production wrapped up this past summer, and the film is set to hit theaters in July. Will it be in 3-D? What will Radcliffe look like as a 40-something adult in the film’s much-discussed epilogue? These are just a few of the questions we have about the upcoming installment.

“The Woman in Black”
The 21-year-old took a 10-day break from “Woman in Black” to promote “Deathly Hallows – Part 1,” but he’ll soon be headed back to the set for another four weeks of filming. Based on a 1983 thriller by Susan Hill, the supernatural thriller follows Arthur Kipps (Radcliffe) as a lawyer who travels to sort out a recently deceased client’s affairs, encountering dark secrets and haunting presences when he arrives. Radcliffe told us he’s been loving the production, which is just a fraction of the size of a “Potter” film. “It’s faster,” he said. “I’m loving it. It’s very, very exciting.

“How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying”
Radcliffe made his Broadway debut in 2008’s “Equus.” He’s heading back to the Great White Way in February for “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.” He’ll play J. Pierrepont Finch, a young New York City window washer who climbs the corporate ranks until his own profit-at-any-cost ideas threaten to bring everything crashing down. Previews are set to begin on February 26 at the Al Hirschfeld Theater, with the musical opening on March 27.

“All Quiet on the Western Front”
The Brit has already lined up another big-screen literary adaptation, though this one has nothing to do with witches, wizards or ghosts. In “All Quiet on the Western Front,” Radcliffe will play Paul Baumer, a German soldier sent to fight in the trenches during World War I. The shoot is expected to kick off in spring 2012.

Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint used to hide from their bodyguards

Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint used to hide from their bodyguards.

The trio – who played Hermione Granger, Harry Potter and Ron Weasley in the ‘Harry Potter’ franchise for almost ten years – hated having to be followed wherever they went and so would to try and make an escape as often as possible.

Emma said: “I hate having bodyguards and when we were younger, Dan, Rupert and I used to try to hide from the people trying to keep an eye on us.”

Now the stunning actress – who is juggling her acting and modeling careers with studying at Brown University in America – has learned to accept attention from fans and prefers to go out without any bodyguards as she is often able to go out without being disturbed.

She added: “Now it’s like ‘Really, I’m fine.’ I take the train and the bus and, if I don’t dress up too much, I’m usually fine. Occasionally people stop me but I’d rather deal with that than not go out at all. That’d be really tragic.”

Welcome

Welcome to Simply Daniel Radcliffe the new site from LucasHQ. This site is meant to replace heartofdestiny.org which was called Sparkling Illusions a Harry Potter website. By making this site, I plan to expand from Harry Potter to Daniel Radcliffe. I am still in the middle of putting this together so bare with me. There is much more to come. Thank you and enjoy your visit.

Daniel Radcliffe: My Kiss with Emma Watson “Was a Bit Kinky”

Harry Potter fans have watched the magical character — as well as the film’s star Daniel Radcliffe — grow up onscreen over the past eight years. And in the latest installment, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I (which hits theaters Nov. 19), Potter locks lips with his BFF, Hermione Granger (Emma Watson). Okay, so it happens in a dream — but it’s still pretty steamy!

“I thought it was going to be a really slow, sensual kind of thing and then Emma just went for it,” the 21-year-old actor tells iVillage exclusively. “I was very much a passenger in that kiss. But I didn’t mind. There are hundreds and thousands of men all over the world who would’ve cut off a limb to be in that position. So I’m not going to complain.”

Another thing he’s not complaining about? Being compared to Robert Pattinson! “He’s a lovely guy and he’s doing brilliantly,” says Radcliffe of the Twilight and former Harry Potter star. “I think we’re both very lucky to be in the positions that we are.”

Watch our exclusive video interview to find out where the actor keeps the iconic Harry Potter glasses and why his recent guest appearance on The Simpsons was a dream come true.
