Daniel Radcliffe, known to millions of fans of fantasy starring in a series of films about the wizard Harry Potter, has adopted a new challenge to his film career once again, this time very high-budget adaptation of the legend of Frankenstein.
Since its release in theaters last film of the famous series, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” Four years have passed since the actor tried his hand at various kinoamplua, but in a surprising way and make-up clown hunchback and Assistant mad scientist we see it, perhaps for the first time.
Daniel, the most obvious question: how are you? What good is going on in your life?
Not bad, thanks. Very busy all the time. Nevertheless, it was great to take part in making the film “Victor Frankenstein”, which now goes to the cinema. It was really the first large-scale project for me since “Harry Potter.” This is a big studio movie with a good budget without reference to the “Harry Potter”. I have not acted in such films, and it was a definite challenge, but also a great pleasure. I enjoyed filming.
How is this your experience is different from smaller-scale projects?
The main difference in the scenery and the camera. When you have more financial opportunities, you have more time to shoot a crane. You can do more classroom training. As for the scenery, again everything depends on money. I’ve always wondered what the designers in the movies can make the usual facilities a few different sets for a given scene.
When I first met with Paul McGuigan for the discussion of the draft, he showed me a vision of how he wanted to show London. To some extent the time was similar to today’s. Now we have less scientific and technological revolution, because everything happens on the Internet, but the Internet is changing the world just as well, as did the industrial revolution in those days. I think Paul wanted to capture the London of that time with his delight and danger, carried by the changes.
