Daniel Radcliffe on obsession with death, religion & TV heaven

DANIEL RADCLIFFE admits he is potty about his own mortality after landing a new gig as a low-level angel in US sitcom Miracle Workers.

The former boy wizard also shared where he lands when it comes to religion — and even teased fans about a Harry Potter afterlife.

The 29-year-old British actor admitted on death: ‘I think about it constantly anyway. I think I’m quite morbid.’

Now spending time in the ‘fun world’ of heaven on TV, he continued: ‘I don’t particularly believe in an afterlife but, if there was one and it was like this, I’d be very happy.’

On religion, Dan also shared: ‘I personally am agnostic leaning toward atheism. I don’t expect there to be a God and an afterlife.

‘I would be pleasantly surprised if there was. I’m fully aware that religion is a huge part of a lot of people’s lives.

‘Everyone can believe whatever they want, as long as it’s not hurting anyone and as long as you don’t think that gives you the right to tell someone else how they can live their life.’

Despite his views, he says he expects an afterlife for the eight Potter films — the movie franchise he starred in from the age of 11 and waved goodbye to in 2011.

Stopping short of teasing a return to the role, he finished: ‘I’m sure there will be some other version of it; I know I’m not the last Harry Potter I’m gonna see in my lifetime — we’ve already got a few more.’
