The soundtrack to Horns, the new supernatural film starring Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and Juno Tempo (Dirty Girl, Year One), makes its international debut today!  Director Alexandre Aja (Piranha 3D, The Hills Have Eyes) employed the talents of French musician and composer, ROB, to lend this film the very musical rock ‘n’ roll movie vibe.  In the U.S., Horns (Original Motion Picture Score) will be released by Lakeshore Records in the U.S. soon, so stay tuned!  The movie is in theaters on October 31.

New Behind the scenes article on the photoshoot Dan did for Mental Floss by Dale May. “We had tons of photos we loved and couldn’t fit in the print edition, so here are a few outtakes from our August 5 photoshoot, a couple of behind the scenes shots, and some more quotes from Radcliffe.

When it comes to picking his projects, Radcliffe told us that he doesn’t have a checklist or a list of requirements. “Basically, I just want to do original things that feel new and challenging, and obviously I’m looking for something that shows a different side of what I can do,” he said. “It’s really what you respond to, what excites you, because there’s no possibility of predicting correctly whether or not a film will be successful or not. So the only thing you can do is be guided by your own taste and hope that some of them come off.”

Sir Ben Kingsley and rising talent Brie Larson have joined Daniel Radcliffe on Killer Films’ drama Brooklyn Bridge.

Radcliffe will play the brilliant but inexperienced engineer Washington Roebling who is left to oversee the construction of the Brooklyn Bridge when his father (Ben Kingsley) passes away.

Larson, best known for her role in Short Term 12, will play Roebling’s wife.

Writer-director Douglas McGrath’s (Infamous, Emma) drama is scheduled to shoot in spring 2015 with Goldcrest Films handling sales.

Christine Vachon produces for Killer Films with Rose Ganguzza. Goldcrest Post will provide picture and sound post production.

Vachon added: “We knew this was a special project from the moment Doug shared his script and it’s going to be thrilling to see it come to life in the hands of such talented, fearless and brilliant actors”.

Daniel Radcliffe opens the National Film Days

The international star Daniel Radcliffe opens on September 15, the first edition of the National Film Days. You once said that school was hard for you but you learned to love learning on the Harry Potter set. What do you feed your mind these days?
I used to read a lot of fiction and now I read a lot of non-fiction. And I discovered a few blogs on Kinja that I like that just talk about interesting things—Deadspin is the one I got into it from, but [Kinja has] a blog for anything that you could possibly be interested in.

I also consume endless factual television programs. I have it in my head that if I go to bed watching something like [the Smithsonian Channel], I’ll retain it, and if I do it enough, then I’ll retain quite a lot, eventually. I was learning about Hittites last night. I remember thinking “That’s good that the Hittites have had a show,” because you don’t hear about them. All of the latest civilizations take their thunder away, but they were one of the first civilizations! They deserve a mention!
