Harry Potter was a character created by Joanne K. Rowling. In August 1996, J.K. Rowling published her first Harry Potter book called “The Sorcerer’s Stone”. It was Bloomsbury books that offered her the contact for the series. After the book was made it was a few years later that the movies, games and merchandise came out. From then on it’s been an awesome adventure to read and see. J.K. Rowling is writing book 7 this year. Can’t wait for it.
How I got interested in Harry Potter?
I picked up my first Harry Potter book on Christmas which my mom had bought me. I read it and kept on reading until I couldn’t stop. Sadly, I didn’t get the others. 🙁 But I now have The Order of the Phoenix which I am reading now and The Half Blood Prince. I watched all the movies and loved them all and this Christmas; my son, Jack got Harry Potter the Prisoner of Azkaban game and I loved it. I played it all night long.
How Daniel Radcliffe got the part for Harry Potter?
Producer: David Heyman spotted Dan with his parents sitting in a theatre while watching a play. David admits that he was “distracted” by Dan’s potential to play Harry and after a meeting, both the Producer and Dan’s parents agreed to have Dan audition. And as you know it Daniel got the part.
