The celebrities arrived last Saturday through the La Romana Airport, on different flights, and are already staying at Casa De Campo.
According to the information, the actors are in the country to join the filming of the romantic comedy “Lost City of D”, directed by Adam and Aaron Nee, with a budget to be executed in the country of 74 million dollars.
Likewise, the arrival of the actor Brad Pitt will also be expected in the coming days, according to the local press, who will star in the film.
Filming in the country of this type of project is covered by article 39 of the Law for the Promotion of the Film Industry in the DR.
“Lost City of D” will also feature Patti Harrison and Da’Vine Joy Randolph.
The General Directorate of Cinema said that its filming is set to occur in Samaná, Santo Domingo, and at the Pinewood Studios, located in Juan Dolio.
The Dominican Republic has become an attraction for actors, actresses from the United States, and other nationalities, who have decided to record films in this country, remaining one of the main destinations for filmmakers and producers in the Hollywood industry; contributing to the development of the film industry.
The American press has advanced that “Lost City of D” is a romantic adventure comedy and that it will be released next year.
