For the last two weeks we have been receiving entries for our giveaway competition. I reviewed each entry submitted and today I am announcing the winner to the contest. I thought long and hard since everyone that submitted an entry was incredibly amazing. And it was not easy to choose who should win the book.

So to announce the winner, I would like to congratulate Michele Mar-Tang. Her story not only let’s you see why Dan is special to her, but why he is special overall.

I have been a part of this website for approximately 3 1/2 years.It’s hard to sum up all the reasons why Dan means so much to me. I have never, ever, felt this way about a “celeb” before. Ever. Dan came into my life during a very down time: I was in tremendous physical pain from a small oral surgery, which even the dentist couldn’t figure out why, for 21 days. Also, a very special family member, that I was very close to, hurt me very,very badly. So I was miserable. So one day Sorcerer’s Stone was on, and I had no physical energy at all; I just lay on the couch, and I watched it. And fell in love with it. By the time I got to OOTP Dan had had my attention. Yes, I first noticed his physical attributes. But a few months later I actually met him for the first time, and was so impressed by the time and attention he gives his fans. As time went on, and I continued to follow his career, I could see such quality and genuineness in this individual. His love for his craft, his fans, and humanity became so apparent I began to wonder how everyone is not in love with him. After meeting him many times, I can see he is truly a wonderful human being, who cares deeply for the people who like, admire, and love him. To me, he is the world. This past Summer Dan helped me through an extremely tough personal crisis. All I have to do, on any given day, is look at his face, and everything is instantly made better. Also, through Dan, I have made some wonderful, caring, special friends, most of which I have never met in person, but have become my family. Actually, I love them more than my extended family. I don’t know where I would be right now had I never been introduced to his work, his art, his person. He has changed me for the better in more ways than I can enumerate. This is why Dan is special to me.
