The cast introduces their new Broadway play, based on a book, based on an essay.
Broadway’s The Lifespan of a Fact follows determined young fact-checker Daniel Radcliffe, demanding editor Cherry Jones, and unorthodox author Bobby Cannavale as they take part in a high-stakes showdown between fact and fiction. Written by Jeremy Karekan, David Murrell, and Gordon Farrell, and directed by Leigh Silverman, the play is based on a real life incident and the book of the same name that followed. “The story becomes a debate about how far an artist can go…in order to get to the emotional truth,” explains Cannavale.
