Harry Potter’s house is up for sale. The home used as 4 Privet Drive in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone is on the market in the UK for #475,000 GBP pounds. The detached property, in Martins Heron, in Bracknell, near Reading in England was the set for the Dursleys home in the first Harry Potter movie. Producers picked it in 2001. In the film, the boy wizard, played by Daniel Radcliffe, was forced to live under the stairs by his cruel Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon. It features three bedrooms and a large garden. The listing reads: “Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac location, this detached property has recently undergone complete renovation to an extremely high standard.” It was last sold for #290,000 GBP pounds in May 2010.
