The statue of Harry Potter has finally been revealed on Leicester Square’s Scenes in the Square Trail. The statue is of Daniel Radcliffe as the boy wizard in the scene where he first takes flight for quidditch. He’s been sculpted in bronze, just like his Leicester Square co-star statues. He occupies the north terrace of the very same square where the movie premiered back in 2001. Harry Potter content has also been added to the Square’s pre-exiting audio tour to coincide with the statue’s unveiling.
Harry will be poised on his Nimbus 2000 until July 2023. Pictures are posted in our gallery.

Harry Potter Page to Screen: Revised and Expanded now has more pages devoted to the legacy of the Harry Potter films. In addition to the complete history of all eight Harry Potter films, the book now explores the theme parks in Florida, California and Japan, the sets and props in Leavesden, England and the House of MinaLima, founded by the graphic designers on all of the films, and located in London. With 1200 photographs, sketches, and diagrams, the book provides unbridled access to every aspect of the film-making process. It tells the stories behind each individual film and covers the design and technology behind all the astounding effects. This book pays homage to how one film became eight, how a few months became a decade, and how one author’s fantasy became the project of many individuals’ lifetimes-told by the people who were there, the people who made the magic real.
This book is the Bible for everything Potter and will stand as the most complete and final visual history of the Harry Potter movie story ever to be published. Book is now on Pre-Order for its November 13 release.
Harry Potter Page to Screen: Updated Edition: The Complete Filmmaking Journey

Though he died in 2014, the memory of the late Robin Williams will live on with a collection from the actor and his wife of 20 years, Marsha Garces Williams, set to be auctioned off at Sotheby’s New York on Oct. 4.
Sotheby’s announced Friday that “Creating a Stage: The Collection of Marsha and Robin Williams” will offer the public an opportunity to witness and bid on works spanning Marsha’s and Willams’ interests and careers, with each item reflecting their shared passion for collecting.
The fall auction will showcase the couple’s varied personal items including their film and entertainment memorabilia, such as autographed scripts, awards, props and wardrobe associated with projects spanning the actor and film producer’s careers. The auction will also include contemporary art, including a sculpture by Niki de Saint Phalle and street art by Banksy, Invader and Shepard Fairey. More than 40 watches from Williams’ personal collection, a selection of bicycles, sports memorabilia, furniture and decorative art from their residences will also be available for auction.
Other items set to be auctioned also include the Hollywood Walk of Fame star presented to Williams in 1990 ($3,000-$5,000), a white gold Tonneau-Form Minute Repeating Tourbillon wristwatch ($25,000-$35,000) and a Gryffindor robe worn by Daniel Radcliffe in the 2001 film Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone ($10,000-$15,000).
Proceeds from “Creating a Stage” will benefit a number of organizations championed by both Marsha and Williams, including The Juilliard School — Williams attended, though he did not graduate — The Wounded Warrior Project, the Challenged Athletes Foundation and the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.
The auction will be preceded by an exhibition located at Sotheby’s auction house in New York and will open to the public on Sept. 29.
