Warner Home Video has announced that the first installment in the final film HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS: PART 1 (HP 7.1), starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman and Ralph Fiennes, will be released on Blu-ray April 15, 2011 in a BD/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack. And in order to generate even more publicity, the studio has set up a website for the Quest for the Hallows, which is a global online adventure that offers exclusive photos, video content and a chance to win prizes throughout the year to celebrate the success of the Harry Potter films.

You can see the second installment, HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS: PART 2 this summer when it hits theaters on July 15, 2011. And then sadly the whole thing will be over and all of us Muggles will have to carry on with our boring lives minus Harry, Hermione and Ron. Special features for HP 7.1 include:

* Maximum Movie Mode: join host Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy), and other members of the cast and crew, on an interactive journey through Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1. Plus, revisit important moments from the previous films to prepare for the final battle that takes place in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2.
* Exclusive sneak peek of a scene from the upcoming film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2
* Dan, Rupert and Emma’s Running Competition: while filming the escape scene from the Snatchers in Swinley Forest, Dan, Rupert and Emma engage in a little competition of their own. With colorful commentary by Director David Yates, see the competitive spirit on set and this hilarious rivalry between the three leads.
* The Seven Harrys: see how Daniel Radcliffe recreated the personalities of the different characters that transform into Harrys in the Privet Drive scene.
* On the Green with Rupert, Tom, Oliver and James: accompany Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), Oliver Phelps (George Weasley) and James Phelps (Fred Weasley) for a round of golf and get a glimpse into their 10-year friendship that developed while making the Harry Potter films.

Why did Danel Radcliffe choose the musical revival How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying as his next Broadway show? Equus was a creaky revival too, but that choice was obvious: he got to be extremely dramatic (not to mention famously naked). Maybe he just wants to sing and dance.

This video promo is mostly about Anderson Cooper as the voice of the show’s narrator — another unexpected choice — but the once-and-future Harry Potter puts in some appearances too.

Casting is now complete for the Broadway revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying starring Daniel Radcliffe. Performances will begin Feb. 26 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.

The newly announced How to Succeed ensemble will feature Cameron Adams, Cleve Asbury, Tanya Birl, Kevin Covert, Paige Faure, David Hull, Justin Keyes, Marty Lawson, Erica Mansfield, Barrett Martin, Nick Mayo, Sarah O’Gleby, Stephanie Rothenberg, Megan Sikora, Michaeljon Slinger, Joey Sorge, Matt Wall, Ryan Watkinson, Charlie Williams and Samantha Zack.

As previously reported, “Harry Potter” and Equus star Radcliffe will star as J. Pierrepont Finch with Emmy Award-winning actor John Larroquette (“Night Court”) as World Wide Wicket Company president J.B. Biggley.
