Actress Natasha Liu Bordizzo has been cast opposite Daniel Radcliffe in the indie, Guns Akimbo, a Jason Lei Howden-directed action comedy, which is currently filming in New Zealand.
t follows a lovelorn man Miles (Radcliffe) whose mundane existence is turned upside-down when he finds himself enrolled in a dark social media movement that forces strangers to fight in a city-wide game of death, live-streamed worldwide to a fanatical audience.
Bordizzo, who appeared in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny and The Greatest Showman, will play Nova, a video-gaming, comic-book-loving ex-girlfriend of Miles.
Joe Neurauter and Felipe Marino of Occupant Entertainment are producing with Tom Hern of Four Knights.
Bordizzo will next be seen in Anthony Maras’ Hotel Mumbai with Armie Hammer and Dev Patel and was recently announced as part of the voice cast of Sony’s animated film Wish Dragon.

Stories For Boys Who Dare To Be Different is a collection of over 100 stories of some famous and not-so-famous men who changed the world without slaying a single dragon or rescuing a single princess.
Among them is the story of Daniel Radcliffe, the British actor who rose to fame when he was cast as Harry Potter in the hugely anticipated film adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s best-selling series.
At school, Daniel never really felt he was good at anything. He had a problem called dyspraxia, which made even little things, like writing or tying his laces, more difficult for him than for other people. He didn’t have much confidence in himself.
Despite that, Daniel always knew he wanted to act. But it was almost an accident when he went to audition to play Harry Potter, the boy wizard who millions of readers everywhere had fallen in love with. Daniel had wanted to give up acting completely when he was eleven. It was only because they couldn’t find the right boy anywhere, that the director went and persuaded him to audition.
As soon as he walked into the room, everyone working on the film agreed: this boy must play Harry Potter.

Also on to more news President of Colombia Juan Santos announced that Daniel Radcliffe will be filming in Colombia soon. No clue which movie it will be but we shall have more news for you on that when we hear of it.

Samara Weaving has joined Daniel Radcliffe on Altitude sales title and action comedy Guns Akimbo ahead of an April 28 production start in Auckland, New Zealand.
Production will also take place in Munich, Germany. Occupant Entertainment is producing in association with Pump Metal Films and Ingenious Media on the Germany-New Zealand co-production, with Four Knights Film, New Zealand, as well as Maze Pictures and Occupant Entertainment Germany.
Jason Lei Howden directs from his screenplay about a lovelorn man whose mundane existence is turned upside-down when he finds himself enrolled in a dark social media movement that forces strangers to fight in a city-wide game of death, live-streamed worldwide to a fanatical audience.
Weaving’s credits include Picnic At Hanging Rock and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
Occupant’s Joe Neurauter and Felipe Marino are producing with Tom Hern of Four Knights. Philipp Kreuzer and Joerg Schulze of Maze Pictures are co-producing.

On April 16, Tom Felton (aka Draco Malfoy) uploaded a snapshot that’s set the Internet ablaze — since it features him alongside his Hogwarts classmates Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) and Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom)

Rickman’s newly revealed archive of scripts and letters includes a lovely message from a young Daniel Radcliffe, as well as correspondence from Nicole Kidman and David Hare. An adorable letter from Daniel Radcliffe to the late, great Alan Rickman has been unearthed from the actor’s archive.
Radcliffe wrote to his Harry Potter co-star as a child, wishing Rickman a “Merry Xmas” and praising his recent performance. Neil Pearson Rare Books, run by actor Neil Pearson, has obtained Rickman’s archive of scripts, letters and photographs. Among the collection is a wealth of personal letters from the likes of Radcliffe, Nicole Kidman and playwright David Hare. Radcliffe wrote to praise Rickman’s performance in an unknown play.
Via Dan’s Google Plus: Dan (12 years old at the time) sent a very nice note to Alan Rickman after seeing him in Private Lives. Happy Friday!
