Since all facebook pages are being deleted SDR was the first to go. It’s now permanently deleted. It was a lot of hard work that I didn’t have time for. But LucasHQ is a facebook page that I will post information for all sites, none of the updates will list what the actors are doing but what we are doing. I will list our anniversary updates, problems we are fixing, just different things whatever comes up that people need to know. It’s SDR’s 2 year anniversary since the conversion from HP to Daniel Radcliffe. In January of 2013, the site will be celebrating its 7th year online. Kinda confusing isn’t it?
Several of my very good friends have given me the strength to go forward and its been one hell of a exciting time in my life. To the ones I talk to almost every day, thank you for your support and your help. I couldn’t have done any of this without you guys.
Also forgot to mention thanks to James and Amy Duelly for donating some new pictures to the site. And my dear friend Adair, who drives me insane but knows I love her just as much thanks for helping with the graphics sweetie <3
With everything all the contributions from Daniel’s fans and people that were kind enough to donate their personal photos we have reached 45,000 making SDR one of the go to places for any Dan fan. Every single day or night, I do multiple searches from different countries and languages and its a lot of hard work. But its a thing I love to do and I hope with everything I put together is appreciated.
I’ve made some changes in our site’s registration, because it needed it. While we would like to continue to be a site that didnt need help we really do need you the people. So I am asking if you can contribute please do. Anything you can help with at all will be very appreciative. If you cannot that is completely fine, but it would be good to bring more into it with your help. Scans, graphics, anything written like a story, poetry something to see you more active with our site. We’d like to add more for you and by you contributing it would give the visitors more to view, read or listen to. I aint asking for anything high quality or professional. Edits are welcome from tumblr users, if text is added make sure its nothing offending. Anything submitted will be credited and if you prefer to remain Anon just state so.

A few years back, I was contacted by Thomas to join a group called the DA back when we were a Harry Potter website. It was a very good group and I was proud to be a part of it. Over time Thomas and I lost touch. Now I am proud to announce he’s back with a little something new.
The Austrian writer Thomas Sailer, a longstanding Harry Potter Fan, has published his third book “Chronik eines Harry Potter Fans“ (Chronicles of a Harry Potter Fan) just a few days ago.
For many years, beginning in spring 2005, he was active in the virtual Harry Potter fan community: He started helping out on ‘Emma Watson Empire’ and advanced, from a normal site visitor, to the site’s representative just within a few months.
Two years later he founded the Knight Bus, world’s most likely biggest Harry Potter link archive. And finally, he started an organization called ‘The international network of Harry Potter Websites’: His attempt to get the worldwide fandom to collaborate and to keep it in one piece after the release of the final Harry Potter movie.
In this book he talks about his activities and inducements, as well as the influence which the Harry Potter story had on his life.

On a personal note, here’s what I am thankful for. I am thankful for a lot of things, but most especially my children I am thankful for. Today they all did something they never did before something I didn’t expect. All three of them came up to me today and said they loved me. It was so cute how they all came to me and hugged me. It was a good feeling and I love them for it. I am also thankful for the people I met who never let me give up as much as I often felt I had to and for giving me the strength to move on. All of you out there I am thankful for and I wouldn’t change anything because my family and friends keep me going and I thank you for that.
I decided to end the Thanksgiving contest I figured I probably wouldn’t have much time so I will be emailing the winners asap. On another note, SkyArts has posted a clip from A Young Doctor’s Notebook which you can view by click the link.
Been doing a little here and there on the site which has been a while since i did anything like that. So I added a link directory where you can view several Daniel sites. Was also getting reacquainted with RSS feeds so here’s what I did. To make the news available via feed-based, i knew of feedburner so I set one up. You can share each news article by email or facebook here’s how it looks: SdrNewsCenter
The feed is available: in any reader, on the desktop, web, mobile devices and beyond. I don’t have a capable phone for the web so maybe you guys can test this for me see how it looks. It’s just another way to get your news fix. You can subscribe by email or feed.
I decided to do something different I’ve been thinking about about the people I met through SDR and while I cannot remember a whole lot of you I created something so we could hook up somehow. Please note that what I made is not concerning Dan in anyway news, pictures and video are already on the site. So if you join this will not be about him. But to share with what your working on and would like to share or just a few words on how you are. Also to help or give suggestions for our projects with the site. So if you would like to join here’s the link I didn’t know what to call it so I just called it SDR Members.
